The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) has just published the Sixth European Working Condition Survey – Overview report which sets out the key findings of the 2015 working conditions survey (see http://www.eurofound.europa.eu/surveys/european-working-conditions-surveys/sixth-european-working-conditions-survey-2015
Since 2000 it finds a significant increase in profit sharing (from 5.5% to 12%) and a slight increase in employee share ownership, (from 2% to 4%) across EU Member States – see page 99:
Profit-sharing schemes and shares in the company have been slowly increasing in importance since 2000, involving 12% and 4%, respectively, of workers in 2015. (Figure 89)
