IPSA Chair: Eleanor Cunningham
We’re sure all our members will join us in welcoming Eleanor Cunningham as the new Chair of IPSA.
Eleanor, who advises many Irish and international companies in both the private and public sectors in her role as Partner and Head of the Pensions & Incentives Group at McCann FitzGerald, has been a prominent voice and tireless worker on behalf of IPSA during her term as vice-Chair over the past two years.
She takes over as Chair from Nigel Derrick, Client Services Director of Computershare, during whose term IPSA has enjoyed a 100%, has successfully lobbied the Government for the introduction of new employee share ownership schemes, and has staged the first ever Employee Share Ownership Days (ESOD) in Ireland.
Gemma Jacobsen, Tax Director with KPMG, takes over as vice-Chair from Eleanor.
IPSA CEO Gill Brennan said: “Eleanor has already helped IPSA achieve great things as vice-Chair alongside Nigel over the past two years and I am confident that we will continue to grow in numbers and influence during her term as Chair. I would also like to thanks Nigel for his incredible efforts and support over the past two years – he is a true champion of the employee share ownership in Ireland.”
