IPSA would like to thank all those who attended Employee Share Ownership Day 2022 in Dublin. Our first ‘in-person’ event for almost three years was a great opportunity to listen a range of speakers and their takes on ‘Employee Share Ownership – 2022 and Beyond’.

David Cunniam was the first speaker at ESOD22, providing an update about what Revenue is seeing in the market, before SportsCaller CEO Cillian Barry spoke about how his company successfully use KEEP to attract and retain staff. Marie Flynn built on that with an analysis of the share ownership landscape and and the pressing issues facing the sector, including KEEP reform which has subsequently been addressed in the Budget.

After a coffee break, it was Danny Mansergh’s turn to provide some remarkable information about the gender pay gap and what businesses are doing right and wrong in their attempts to address it. Future of work expert Peter Cosgrove then provided a fascinating, and at times slightly unsettling, insight into the challenges and opportunities that are coming down the track in our working lives.

Revenue principal officer Therese Bourke and Claire Oliver, Group HR Manager at Dalata Hotel Group then joined the speakers for a panel discussion about the issues raised and to answer questions from the audience, before a networking lunch was enjoyed by all.

IPSA would like to thank the sponsors of ESOD22 – PwC, A&L Goodbody and Computershare – and the event MC, Gill Brennan, who did a marvellous job making sure everything ran so smoothly.

There have been many requests for the content from ESOD22, so click below to view and download the speakers’ presentations.
